Shipping Policy
1. Logistics Methods
- Primary: Fulfillment centers in North America and Europe (e.g., US, UK, Germany) for faster delivery of travel humidors, cigar cases, and accessories.
- Secondary: Direct shipments from our global warehouses (including Asia), used when regional inventory is depleted or for custom-engraved humidors.
2. Shipping Coverage & Fees
- Free Standard Delivery: All orders qualify for free standard shipping, with no minimum purchase value. Delivery times vary by location (see below).
- Exceptions: Remote areas (e.g., certain islands, U.S. territories, or inaccessible regions) may incur additional fees. Our system will notify you before checkout, and our team will contact you if issues arise.
3. Duties & Taxes
- For international shipments (outside your country), import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
- We are not liable for unpaid duties/taxes that result in package delays, returns, or confiscation by customs. Refunds will not be issued for orders abandoned due to unpaid fees. For more details, refer to our Shipping & Delivery page.
4. Shipping Times
Shipments from regional fulfillment centers (e.g., US, EU):
- Domestic (within region): 3–7 business days after processing.
- Transit to neighboring countries: 5–10 business days after processing.
Direct shipments from global warehouses:
- US & Europe: 7–15 business days after processing.
- Other regions: 10–20 business days after processing.
Note: Order processing (quality checks, packaging, and any custom engraving) takes 1–3 business days for in-stock items and 2–5 business days for custom orders. Processing time is not included in the above shipping estimates.
5. Shipping Partners
- Regional fulfillment: USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, Amazon Logistics (depending on location).
- Global direct shipments: Yunexpress, 4PX, China Post, or other reliable carriers.
6. Package Delivery & Refusals
- Once a carrier confirms delivery (with tracking or photo proof), we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend using a secure delivery location or our Purchase Protection for added security.
- Do not refuse delivery if you no longer want the order. Instead, contact our customer service to initiate a return (per our Return & Exchange Policy). Refusals may result in non-refundable return fees.
Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
- All our products (including travel humidors, portable cigar cases, hygrometers, and accessories) come with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects and quality issues (e.g., seal failure, hinge defects, faulty hygrometer calibration).
- Exclusions: Damage from misuse, accidental drops, exposure to extreme temperatures/humidity, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow care instructions (e.g., not seasoning a humidor before use). For full details, see our Warranty page.
2. 14-Day Worry-Free Return
- Within 14 days of delivery, you may return products for a full refund or replacement, provided they are in original condition (with all accessories and packaging intact).
- For non-quality issues (e.g., change of mind), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable.
3. Applicable Purchases
This warranty applies to orders made through protravelhumidors.com and our authorized channels. For purchases from third-party resellers, please contact them directly for warranty support.
4. Return & Refund Terms
- Refund Deductions: For non-quality returns, original shipping costs (if any) and payment processing fees (typically 2.5–3% of order value) will be deducted from the refund.
- Time Limits: Returns requested after 14 days will not be accepted, unless covered by the 12-month warranty (for verified quality issues).
- Unclaimed Packages: If a package is destroyed due to unclaimed delivery (per courier rules), no refund will be issued. If returned to our warehouse, the buyer must cover return shipping fees to receive a refund.
5. Warranty Replacements
- Within the 12-month warranty period, defective products will be repaired or replaced free of charge (e.g., a new humidor with a failed seal, a replacement hygrometer).
- Shipping fees for warranty replacements are covered by us for the first 3 months; after 3 months, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs to our designated warehouse.
6. Safety & Usage Instructions (For Travel Humidors & Accessories)
To avoid damage and ensure safety, please follow these guidelines:
Before Use (Humidors):
- Season your travel humidor according to the manual: wipe interior with distilled water, calibrate hygrometer, and allow humidity to stabilize before storing cigars.
- Do not overfill humidification devices; this can cause water damage to the wood lining.
- For shipping or long-term storage, remove any cigars and ensure the humidification element is dry or sealed to prevent mold.
During Use (Humidors & Accessories):
- Keep humidors away from direct sunlight, radiators, or air conditioning vents to prevent wood warping.
- Do not use tap water in humidifiers; always use distilled water or propylene glycol solution.
- For hygrometers, avoid dropping or exposing to water immersion.
