We stand behind the quality of every product we sell and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This page outlines our return, exchange, and warranty procedures, which are governed by our Terms of Service.

All products sold directly through protravelhumidors.com are covered by a 1-year comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects, as well as a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date you receive your original order. For detailed warranty coverage, please see our dedicated Warranty page.

This warranty and return policy applies exclusively to purchases made on our official website (protravelhumidors.com) or through our authorized channels (e.g., official marketplaces). If you purchased from an authorized reseller, please reach out to them directly for after-sales support, as their policies may differ.

To start a return or exchange, you must submit a request via email to support@protravelhumidors.com or through our Contact Us form. Our team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide the correct return shipping address. Please clearly write the RMA number on the outside of your package. Return shipments received without a valid RMA number may be delayed or rejected.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe (see note below). For your return or exchange to be processed without issues, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in its original condition, free from damage caused by misuse, excessive wear, or unauthorized modifications. All original accessories, user manuals, hygrometer calibration tools (if included), and packaging must be returned.
  • You must have a valid, unexpired RMA number obtained from our customer service team prior to shipping the product back.
  • For travel humidors that incorporate any moisture system or humidification device, please ensure the humidor is empty of any cigars and that the humidification element is dry to prevent leakage during transit.

If your product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the 1-year warranty period (excluding normal wear, accidental damage, or misuse), we will replace it at no cost or issue a full refund, depending on your preference. Please see our Warranty page for defect claim procedures.

Return and Exchange Policy: Important Notes on Shipping Costs & Refunds

  • If you are returning a non-defective item within the 14-day satisfaction period, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund amount. For shipping timelines, refer to our Shipping & Delivery page.
  • For defective items covered under the 1-year warranty, ProTravelHumidors will cover the return shipping costs (please contact us for a prepaid label when applicable).
  • Any returns sent to an incorrect address (not the one provided with your RMA) will not be processed, and we cannot guarantee a refund or exchange.
  • Refunds will be issued solely to the original payment account used for the purchase. Depending on your financial institution, credit card refunds may take 7-14 business days to appear on your statement. See our Payment Policy for more details.
  • If you paid via PayPal, please allow up to 48 hours after our refund confirmation for the funds to reflect in your PayPal balance.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service for any return. ProTravelHumidors is not responsible for lost or delayed return parcels.
  • You must contact our customer service before sending any return. Unannounced returns or chargeback claims without prior communication may delay resolution and affect your eligibility for future support.

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective:

  • Custom-engraved or personalized travel humidors (unless the defect is due to a processing error on our part).
  • Disposable humidification packets or opened Boveda packs (if sold as accessories).
  • Items returned after 30 days from delivery (unless covered by a specific warranty claim).

How to Request an RMA

Please email support@protravelhumidors.com with your order number, the product name (e.g., "Carbon Fiber Travel Humidor – 15-capacity"), and a brief description of the issue. Attach clear photos or a short video if you are reporting a defect. Our team will respond with an RMA form and shipping instructions within 1-2 business days.
